Well, what can I tell you about myself?? First, I’m a stubborn, strong willed, sometimes neurotic person. Gives you a great feeling about this site doesn’t it! I love hanging out with my family, playing guitar, working on cars, and talking about all things investing. Oh, and if I could I’d have music playing 24 hours a day.

I didn’t come from a conventional investing background. I’m actually an Aerospace Engineer. I thought my first voyage into the realm of investing would be through real estate. So I read dozens of books, grabbed the latest Carlton Sheets program, and quickly realized that I wasn’t buying into much of the “investing with no money down”, house flipping, OPM hoopla. Oh, and I didn’t have any money to start real estate investing anyway.

So I turned to the stock market. I realized very quickly that studying companies, crunching numbers, building financial algorithms, and all that nerdy stuff was extremely fun to me. Crazy right! I love to put my wife to sleep with discussions of growth rates, discount cash flow models, PE multiples, and all that sexy talk. I would call my style of investing mostly value investing (I absolutely love the Benjamin Graham books), with a touch of speculative fun.

My primary goal with this site is to make people actually think about their money, and how they can grow it safely, hopefully at a rate that’ll get them to their goals within their time frame. I don’t intend on spewing tens of pages of technical numbers, but I will discuss the decisions I make with regard to my investing choices. I’ll make available the tools I’ve developed to help me in this endeavor and hopefully provide some education, or at least entertainment.
Feel free to shoot me a message regarding any of my posts or just to provide insults. I’ll take either. Happy reading!
